Gord Doyle

President

Gord oversees PNG’s natural gas and propane business operations, and leads the company’s strategic direction, to deliver energy safely and reliably to residential and business customers across northern British Columbia. Gord brings over 20 years of experience in British Columbia’s gas and electric utility sectors, with a focus on regulatory, business development and customer service.

Gord first joined PNG in 2020 as the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Gas Supply. In his prior role, Gord was responsible for regulatory strategy and PNG’s regulatory filings; overseeing the legal function; and ensuring that the company had sufficient supply to meet customer demand.

Gord has a Master of Business Administration from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.

 

 

Amanda Ward

Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, Legal & Gas Supply

Amanda plays a key role in developing the appropriate regulatory strategies for PNG, which as a regulated public utility, seek to balance the interests of both the company and its customers. Amanda also oversees the legal function and leads the Regulatory, Gas Supply and Customer Care teams.

Amanda has extensive specialized public utility regulation expertise and deep commercial law knowledge, including dealing with a wide variety of issues such as interconnection processes, rate design and energy policy. Prior to joining PNG, Amanda held senior regulatory and legal roles with over 17 years of progressive experience in a regulated utility.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws and Barrister and Solicitor designation.

 

 

Doug Allen

Vice President, Finance

Doug provides financial leadership and strategic direction, contributing to PNG’s annual and long-term business goals. Doug brings over 35 years of industry experience in the finance sector to the role.

Prior to joining PNG in 2016, Doug held a number of executive financial leadership positions, including in the utility sector, with key responsibilities including financial management, accounting and strategic planning in a multi-jurisdictional environment, complex financial reporting and mentorship of the finance department.

Doug has a Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in Accounting, from the University of Calgary, and is a Certified Professional Accountant, CA, CPA.
