To keep our crews safe, we’ll be isolating sections of the line and lowering the pressure in a controlled way while the repair work is being done.

Our crews are doing regular system maintenance, including electrical upgrades.

Pacific Northern Gas is doing safety work near Tumbler Ridge.

Our crews are performing regular system maintenance and making modifications to our existing line. We’re also removing and replacing the building at Tumbler Ridge Gate Station, and mulching a section of our existing right-of-way.

Pacific Northern Gas is doing safety work between Vanderhoof through to Prince Rupert and Kitimat.

Our crews are performing regular system maintenance and service work, completing assessments, and conducting integrity digs and repairs.

You might see us installing new services, retiring obsolete services and doing maintenance repairs to our existing line near Vanderhoof, Fraser Lake, Burns Lake, Houston, Smithers, Terrace, Kitimat, Kloiya Bay, Port Edward and Prince Rupert.

There is increased traffic related to the Salvus to Galloway Maintenance Project:

  • Between Rainbow Summit, the south end of Work Channel and Seal Cove you may see helicopters transporting crews and equipment.
  • At Prudhomme Lake you may see a pontoon barge pulled by a tugboat, which is used to transport equipment and access mats.

Pacific Northern Gas is doing safety work along Highway 2 near Pouce Coupe and Tomslake.

Work along Highway 2 involves installing a new, 9+ km distribution main to connect Tomslake and Pouce Coupe to the Dawson Creek system. You might see us digging or making repairs at the roadside.

The yellow line in the image below represents the PNG line that will connect the Pouce Coupe and Tomslake system with the Dawson Creek system, upgrading the line and making it more reliable for our customers.
