Adding more insulation to your home’s attic and walls, and replacing your windows or doors can make a big difference in your home’s energy efficiency, and to your heating costs.
Our residential building envelope program lets you double up on the CleanBC Better Homes Windows and Doors Replacement Rebate, and Insulation Rebate applicable to attics, basement and crawlspace, and exterior walls. PNG offers you up to $4,100 in rebates. Apply for incentives through our Residential Building Envelope Program, and start saving on your upgrades and heating bills.

How to Qualify
Homeowners and renters that are PNG customers living in a detached home, townhome, duplex or mobile home are eligible to apply. To qualify for this program, you need to meet a few simple conditions:
- You must be a PNG residential natural gas or residential propane customer.
- You must be a property owner or long-term lease holder
- The completed application, including the proof of purchase and installation must be received within six (6) months of the installation date.
- Reimbursements will only be for the number of modifications clearly describes on your paid invoice (not quote). The number of modifications must include the U or F factor for each item. For window modifications, the rebate is per rough opening, not per windowpane, please ensure the paid invoice includes the number of rough openings. For insulation modifications, please ensure the square footage of space is clearly described with the R value of added insulation only.
Note: You must replace existing doors and/or windows (including the frames) on the exterior of your home with rebate eligible models. Each rough opening in which doors or windows are replaced counts as one door and/or window. A bay window, which may be made up of several individual window sections, counts as one window. Skylights are not eligible for a rebate. A best practices guide can be found here.
