Statement on BCUC Reconsideration Decision

TERRACE, B.C., March 11, 2026 – Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (PNG) acknowledges the British Columbia Utilities Commission’s (BCUC) reconsideration decision related to PNG’s 2025–2027 revenue requirements applications (RRAs) for its West and Northeast service areas.

The decision permits recovery of PNG’s planned investments in pipeline integrity work to support the safe and reliable operation of its system. This work is a core regulatory requirement and includes pipeline inspections, assessments and repairs, as well as related maintenance activities that help ensure the continued safety and reliability of PNG’s natural gas infrastructure.

The BCUC also confirmed its earlier direction to apply a five-year rate smoothing approach.

PNG is reviewing the decision and will proceed with the compliance filings directed by the Commission.

PNG’s focus remains on maintaining safe, reliable service for the communities it serves while operating with financial prudence.
