Funded Commercial/Industrial Energy Study
PNG can assist in identifying a study scope and finding a consultant and will provide payment directly based on an agreement tailored to your needs.
Funded costs include time and related expenses for a qualified individual or organization to conduct necessary site visits and related analyses or research to identify efficiencies and savings. These will relate to assessing existing building envelope, gas space or water heating or energy recovery systems and controls, or gas inputs to industrial processes, and will identify ways to achieve gas savings or efficiencies.
Energy study requirements and costs will differ for each customer and site, and generally include:
- Site Visit(s) to identify where gas heating is used or lost in buildings, building systems, and/or processes
- Energy model or comparisons to explore consumption patterns
- Identify solution concepts including estimated implementation costs and savings where possible
Although this funding is not aimed at detailed solution design or front-end engineering, some preliminary design costs may qualify. Please contact PNG to discuss your needs.
